As the Spanish journalist Gerard Romero reports, Messi’s father – who is also his advisor – tried several times to contact the management of FC Barcelona to discuss a return to the Spaniards. What speaks for and against a transfer?
According to “Sport”, there has been no contact since Barça left. The Catalans’ financial situation hasn’t changed much either. Messi’s relationship with President Joan Laporta is said to remain cold and the Argentine wants to fulfill his contract at PSG. Only the early exit from the Champions League and Messi’s sporting achievements could speak for a transfer.
