Lionel Messi moved from Barcelona to Paris the same summer that Cristiano Ronaldo left Turin for Manchester. In a long interview with Marca, Messi gives his view on Ronaldo’s first time at Manchester United.
– United is a very strong team with fantastic players. Cristiano knew the club before, but it was at a different stage and now he has adapted in an impressive way. From the beginning, he has scored goals as always and had no problems adapting. In the Premier League, they (Manchester United) are not as good as we all thought, but it is a very difficult and even league where things take many turns.
