WhatsApp: new for ephemeral messages
If the functionality of ephemeral messages is topical since this summer on WhatsApp, it is currently experiencing some improvements. Previously, those who used it had no control over the period in which the messages were visible. From now on, they will be able to define a “destruction period” which will vary from 24 hours to 90 days. This new function will allow the application to catch up with other networks, which for their part have been offering it for a while. Users will have the choice between messages visible for 24 hours, 7 days or even 90 days (ie three months). The update will soon be available on the application, something to delight those who expressed their dissatisfaction with the change of WhatsApp T & Cs.
