Message about vaccination in Montes de Oca is false

(CRHoy.com) Through a statement on social networks, the University of Costa Rica, assured that a message spread mainly on “WhatsApp” about the collection of data from people for vaccination in Montes de Oca it is totally false.

The institution, which provides the facilities for placing the doses in this canton, stated that It is not asking for data from people and that this message is not real.

“The UCR is not requesting personal data for the vaccination process. We clarify this due to a message that is circulating, in which it is indicated that people over 58 years of age (who have not yet been vaccinated) who must send their personal data to a cell phone number ”the University wrote through social networks.

Likewise, the Institution reminds all persons that any request for data is made solely by the official channels of the Ebais or the Montes de Oca Health Board.
