The streaming platform Apple TV Plus has announced the star cast of an anthology series on climate change, Variety reported.
In the eight-part series, entitled “Extrapolations”, viewers will see the great Hollywood star Meryl Streep and actors David Schuymer (“Friends”) and Keith Harrington (“Game of Thrones”), writes BTA. The cast also includes Gemma Chan, Sienna Miller, Matthew Reese, David Diggs, Tahar Rahim, Adarsh Gurav.
The series, which is already in production, will contain several intertwined stories, revealing how climate change on the planet affects love, family, faith, work.
What role Meryl Streep will play in the series is not specified yet. David Schuimer will play the father of a teenager, and Gemma Chan will be a single mother who works in a bank. Keith Harrington’s fans will see him as the CEO of an industrial giant.
The creator of the series is Scott Burns – screenwriter of the pandemic drama “Infection” (2011) directed by Steven Soderbergh.
