A man, an employee of a company specializing in cutting wood, was the victim of an accident during a winching operation. A log would have detached from the winch which was lifting it and would have fallen on a foot of the woodcutter.
The victim was first rescued by his colleagues, then the Grimp firefighters, as well as the Smur, arrived in stride. In addition to his lower limb injury, the victim suffered from back pain.
She was evacuated to the Bel-Air hospital in Thionville for treatment.
