Meroni, Egger, Alborghetti, Shining: great cinema is back

A cinematic love story

The trailer tells the charming story of how an enthusiastic cinema fan seduces two couch potatoes to go to the cinema – and possibly finds great love in the process.

A young Swiss star

Kacey Mottet Klein, one of the most exciting Swiss acting talents, was able to be won for the main role. The young star from Vaud was already in front of the camera as a 10-year-old, won Swiss film prizes and the award as a Shooting Star in Berlin, worked twice with old director André Téchiné, most recently at the side of Catherine Deneuve. For the trailer, Kacey Mottet Klein shows his talent in a variety of roles – in the lustfully played action scenes across the film genres as well as in the close-ups of the tender love story. Julia Anna Grob and Rabea Lüthi convince in the supporting roles.

Grosses Kino, swiss made

The film story was invented by the creatives Flavio Meroni and Beat Egger, who joined forces with the strategist and consultant Reto Alborghetti to form the agency team for Allianz Day of the Cinema. Shining Film AG and director Marco Lutz put all their passion for film into the production of the trailer. The soundtrack comes from the internationally acclaimed advertising and film music magicians Great Garbo.

Curtain up

“The seducer” celebrates its premiere in over 550 cinemas from June 17, launching the advertising campaign for Allianz Day of Cinema 2021. Other versions will appear on TV and online. In the cinemas themselves, the film runs in full length in the trailer block – the curtain is wide open, with full surround sound – and for 122 seconds makes you want to experience many unique films in the cinema.

Allianz Day of the Cinema – a thank you

With the “Allianz Day of Cinema”, which will be celebrated for the fifth time in 226 cinemas in Switzerland and Liechtenstein on September 5, 2021, Swiss cinema operators and film distributors are thanking the population with film experiences at a ticket price of 5 francs. The “Allianz Day of the Cinema” is made possible by ProCinema and the title sponsor Allianz Suisse.
