BUSINESS. General construction contractors in Beauce, Construction M. Grégore inc. and Construction CAMAX inc, announced a merger of their two companies on October 8th.
This alliance aims, according to the two companies, to achieve more ambitious objectives, in addition to conquering new markets in the construction industry across the province of Quebec in the coming years.
Before this merger, Construction M. Grégore specialized in the private sector, while CAMAX concentrated its activities in public projects. “This union positions us advantageously in our desire to explore new avenues and make us shine even more in our current markets”, indicates Darren Bolduc, president of the new entity.
“After some discussions, trust quickly settled between us. We had a common vision of becoming a leader in our sector of activity, in addition to sharing solid values that will guide all our decisions, ”adds Maxime Veilleux, former president of Construction CAMAX inc.
The head office of the merged company will be located on 8e Rue in the west of Saint-Georges, the current premises of Construction M. Grégore. A total of 120 employees will work for this company whose brand image remains to be defined over the coming weeks.
