A record-breaking hotel at the highest level

Mercure Szczyrk Resort is a… record-breaking hotel. It is one of the highest located facilities in Poland and the longest hotel in Europe (it stretches over 330 meters). The hotel’s eye-catching shape, which resembles an eagle’s nest, referring to its former name, blends seamlessly into the landscape, showing how large-scale architectural forms can interact with mountains and forests. The hotel’s interior and offerings only enhance the appeal of what is outside.

Mercure Szczyrk Resort offers 447 tastefully furnished rooms, each with a direct view of Skrzyczne – the highest peak of the Silesian Beskids, and the entire hotel can accommodate up to a thousand people at once. Providing high-level services, guests have a total of 6 different dining options at their disposal: two restaurants – Flame and Seasons, Aqua Bistro and Pool Bar, as well as two bars – WoW Bar and Luna.

What’s more, the new hotel also offers a rich wellness area with a swimming pool complex for families with children with 2 slides, a recreational pool with a water bar and 3 outdoor jacuzzis, and a 16+ zone with 6 saunas and a salt cave. This is not the end of relaxation – guests can also enjoy a spa area with 10 treatment rooms and saunas, as well as a fitness area.

For business clients, the hotel has prepared two independent conference rooms with an area of 2,500 square meters, which can accommodate up to 1,200 guests and can be divided into 12 smaller rooms. – We believe that Mercure Szczyrk Resort will be a place where guests from all over the world will discover their ideal mountain retreat, which perfectly reflects the locally rooted experience of our brand.

Local inspiration at every turn

The picturesque surroundings of the hotel tastefully fill its interiors thanks to carefully thought-out concepts. The mountain climate can be felt as soon as you cross the threshold thanks to the use of wood in various colors and shapes. In the lobby, guests can admire the wooden sculpture “Nest”, which is a tribute to the history of the hotel. The open space invites everyone to the Flame restaurant, whose rustic atmosphere and the aroma of dishes grilled on a real fire evoke the atmosphere of meetings by the campfire.

A few steps away, Mercure Szczyrk Resort unfolds a beautiful view of the mountain panorama served by WoW Bar, which will delight every guest. Regional patterns and local handicrafts or a wall with a fireplace referring to traditional highland art provide a cozy and warm atmosphere.

In each room you can find hand-made elements inspired by local crafts and the heritage of the region – Koniaków Lace, whose patterns are found on the walls in plaster with intricate decoration. In turn, using the hotel’s swimming pool complex, thanks to the natural finish and views of the surrounding nature, everyone can feel like they are swimming in a mountain stream.

A unique place is the Luna bar, which is located on the 7th floor of the hotel. Inspired by the beauty of the night moon, the place with creative lighting and fireplaces is full of a mountain and intimate atmosphere. Guests of the bar can enjoy lounges, a DJ zone and an exit to the outdoor terrace with a view of the mountains.

Using the Mercure brand philosophy to its full potential, the newly opened hotel embodies regionalism, which can be discovered at every step during your stay.

Tastes of the mountains

Of the two main restaurants in the hotel, Season Restaurant can accommodate up to 450 guests, and when combined with the conference space – up to 900 people. In turn, the Flame restaurant is a unique place on the culinary map of the region, serving dishes made from the best quality beef prepared on grills fired with fruit trees. This is a place where everyone will be able to try dishes from our smokehouse or specially seasoned meat. It is worth adding that guests will also be able to purchase goods served by the restaurant. The combination of fire with mountain air, nature and sweet wood smoke will create an unparalleled culinary experience.
