Mercedes-Benz will split with about 25 dealerships in Europe, most of them in Spain, Belgium and the United Kingdom. They are expected to be sold, with the Germans expecting to receive between 30m and 40m euros for each of the deals.
The total profit that is expected to enter the coffers of Mercedes is about 1 billion euros, and this money will be invested directly in electric cars. At the same time, the sale of the buildings will reduce the company’s costs, as they will no longer be supported by it.
From Mercedes, however, have one condition in the transfer of ownership of its various offices and centers. They want all employees to keep their jobs, and according to the brand, it is about 2,800 people in various positions.
