The new limited edition of the opulent sedan celebrates fashion and premium quality.
The Mercedes-Maybach brand boasted a special version of the S-class luxury sedan, which will be produced in just 150 units. The Haute Voiture model is supposed to be a celebration of the world of fashion, luxury and premium quality.
„With intricate features and exclusive design elements, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Haute Voiture is one of the most extravagant models we have ever created: it represents sophisticated luxury in its purest form, said Gorden Wagner, chief designer at Mercedes.
„Our customers have access to the most attractive lifestyle, which we wanted to express by creating something highly desirable and using components that have not yet appeared in a Mercedes-Maybach.“
The basis of the special edition is the Mercedes-Maybach S 680 model, but its exterior is decorated in a special color scheme. The top of the car (up to the window line) and the wheels are decorated with metallic blue paint. The automaker then painted the lower body in a shade of rose gold.
A similar color scheme also appears in the cabin. It is mainly upholstered in light Crystal White leather, and on the dashboard, central tunnel or steering wheel we find dark blue. The door panels, the sidewalls of the headrest cushions and the seat trim are trimmed in matching blue-gold bouclé fabric, while the carpets are in mohair.
The MBUX infotainment has received a special Haute Voiture graphic, so for example magnolia blossoms or sparkles appear in the menu. In addition, the avatars in the profile selection received luxurious outfits. On the center console, owners will find the car number within the set of 150 pieces. Each car is also fitted with rose gold champagne glasses.
Furthermore, with each car, customers will receive a gift bag containing the model of the car, a key ring, a plate with the car number within the series and a special tarpaulin with the Maybach and Haute Voiture logos. However, customers can also pay extra for a luxury luggage set that offers a similar design, high-quality materials, etc.
The car, which follows on from the 2022 concept, was unveiled by Mercedes-Maybach in Dubai. The automaker expects to begin sales in early 2023, but the automaker hasn’t disclosed pricing or other information.
