Moscow: Leading car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz withdraws from the Russian market. The decision was made to sell shares in industrial and financial services to local investors. Mercedes-Benz will become the largest automaker to leave the country, spokesmen said.
Mercedes said the company’s stake in Russian truck manufacturer Kamas would not be affected and that the stake would be transferred to Daimler Trucks this year as previously planned.
