Mercedes-Benz RUS will change its name to MB RUS, according to a press release received by Autonews.ru.

Gradually, all visual elements of the brand, website and corporate identity will be changed. MB RUS will continue to carry out sales, after-sales service and warranty support for cars and commercial vehicles. The main focus of the company will remain the Mercedes-Benz brand. At the same time, MB RUS JSC plans to start cooperation with other automakers.

JSC MB RUS will continue to work with partners of the retail network of JSC Mercedes-Benz RUS, resuming joint activities in the supply of cars, spare parts and service of cars and commercial vehicles,” the statement said.

MB RUS has already become a distributor of the Chinese brand Forland. The start of sales is scheduled for the second half of 2023. It is planned to supply a wide range of truck chassis with gross weight from 3.5 to 18 tons to Russia. In addition, Avtodom Group of Companies intends to start cooperation with local body manufacturers.

Earlier, Autonews.ru reported that the Avtodom Group of Companies bought out the assets of Mercedes-Benz in Russia. The company got an automobile plant in the Moscow region, which produced E-class sedans, as well as GLC, GLE and GLS crossovers.
