Mercedes-Benz deactivates support for service programs in Russia, the German manufacturer confirmed its withdrawal from the Russian market two months ago.
Mercedes-Benz will disable support for most of its service programs in Russia. In the near future, Russian services will lose access to diagnostics, as well as online configuration of the automaker’s car systems and devices.
Furthermore, Mercedes-Benz has temporarily stopped shipping spare parts from the central warehouse. In September, it was reported that Russians are privately ordering parts for the brand’s cars and waiting up to six months. If the key was lost, it became completely impossible to order a duplicate, since they are produced in Germany only with the knowledge of the manufacturer, with whom Russian dealers have lost contact.
