Mercedes-Benz Causes Chaos in Causeway Bay: Dangerous Driving Incident Caught on Video

Car cam direct shot|Benz in Causeway Bay plowed the pavement in order to take shortcuts. The uncle’s domineering force prevented the police from investigating the case of dangerous driving.

[Yahoo News Report]A short video went viral on the Internet today (29th). Someone in a shopping mall on George Street in Causeway Bay captured a Mercedes-Benz S-Class traveling very slowly when it was traveling south on East Point Road to the opposite side of Sogo Department Store. He drove onto the pavement at high speed in an attempt to take a “shortcut” and turned eastbound on Hennessy Road to leave the area. Upon seeing this, passers-by immediately tried to dissuade the driver. Later, a middle-aged man wearing a blue shirt blocked the car and raised his right hand to instruct the driver not to move forward or exit Hennessy Road. The two sides argued for about half a minute, and finally the driver obeyed the man’s instructions and slowly reversed the car back to East Point Road.

The police responded to “Yahoo News” and stated that they noticed a short video circulating on the Internet. The clip showed a private car driving on the pavement and driving southbound on East Point Road in Wan Chai outside a department store at about 4pm yesterday (28th). Attempting to turn out of Hennessy Road eastbound poses a danger to other road users. The police attach great importance to the case and handed it over to the Traffic Investigation Team of the Traffic Department of Hong Kong Island for follow-up. Officers have contacted and confirmed that the driver is a 57-year-old man named Wang, and will conduct an investigation into “dangerous driving”.
