This Sunday, the Italian press was particularly active in the transfer window associated with PSG. We find in the columns of transalpine newspapers rumors around PSG including Leandro Paredes, Christian Eriksen and Paulo Dybala.

The Gazzetta dello Sport and the Corriere dello Sport evoke a destin commun entre l’Argentin Leandro Paredes and the Danish Christian Eriksen. On the Gazzetta side, an exchange of players through loans is mentioned, especially for tax issues. The Dane enjoys the status of an expatriate if he moves to Italy for at least two years, with the tax cuts that go with it. A departure to France would result in the loss of these benefits for Inter Milan and the Dane’s salaries would be doubled, to € 15 million gross per year. Nerrazzuro sporting director Beppe Marotta is therefore thinking of a loan from Eriksen, if he does not make the deal and has to return to Milan, he would not lose the tax benefits. In any case, the Gazzetta states that Antonio Conte will not let Eriksen leave only if Leandro Paredes goes to Milan. It would be as part of a loan (with option to buy?). Knowing that if the Argentine landed in Lombardy, he would also apply for expatriate status. However, the Gazzetta dello Sport argues that the case is only in its infancy, in part because Parisian sporting director Leonardo has other issues to settle, Tuchel’s priority.
In the Corriere dello Sport, it’s the same song or not far from it. Pochettino would want Eriksen, despite the plethora of attacking players he has at his disposal in Paris, Conte would want Paredes in return. The former Roma player would no longer be closed to a return to Italy and the solution to exchange players through loans, given the amounts of purchases of Eriksen and Paredes, is favored. On the other hand, the Corriere seems a little more measured on the envy of Mauricio Pochettino, which would push his agent to seek other tracks for the Dane in England (West Ham or Arsenal are cited).
Another transalpine daily, Tuttosport addresses the case of another Argentinian, that of Juventus, Paulo Dybala. Tuttosport explains that Mauricio Pochettino, once appointed to Paris, will carry out a major review of the workforce and intends to get rid of midfielders to obtain offensive creators. It is recalled that Pochettino wanted Dybala when he coached Tottenham and the Argentine had not wanted to join England. Again, the Eriksen – Paredes exchange is quickly mentioned. But La Joya could be the target of PSG, who would be able to shell out € 60m for the Argentine. Tuttosport seems to forget that PSG expects record losses because of the health crisis. Anyway, according to the Turin daily, it would not be enough for Juventus who are expecting a minimum of € 80 million. And the Old Lady would still like to extend the player until 2025.
