Barcelona failed to win during the visit to headquarters Vallecano Ray. Colored penalty Memphis Depay which failed, Los Cules lost 0-1.
In the match at the Estadio de Vallecas, Thursday (28/10/2021) early morning WIB, Barcelona, who needed a win, played dominantly with 68 percent ball possession and made 14 attempts. Unfortunately only one is on goal.
Meanwhile, Rayo was able to make a total of three attempts on target from 12 attempts. One of them led to Radamel Falcao’s winning goal in the 30th minute.
Barcelona’s second straight defeat after El Clasico left them stranded in ninth place in the LaLiga standings with 15 points from nine matches, losing by two to Rayo in eighth.

Only three minutes into the game, Barcelona’s goal almost collapsed after Oscar Trejo cut the ball and immediately released a lob.
The ball went into an empty net but Marc-Andre Ter Stegen quickly returned to his nest to parry the ball. Barcelona played badly from the first minute and made a lot of passing errors.
Barcelona had their first chance in the ninth minute when Memphis snatched the rebound, which defender Rayo cleared on the line. Memphis then tried to shoot after rounding a defender, but his shot went wide.
In the 20th minute, Rayo threatened again through Radamel Falcao who managed to outwit Eric Garcia before firing a shot that hit Gerard Pique. Ter Stegen swiftly blocked the ball.
Sergino Dest stabbed in from the right to create space for him, but the ball was still on target.
Rayo then scored in the half hour through Falcao. Trejo sent a through ball that outwit Sergio Busquets and led to Falcao who ran into the penalty box.

Falcao who was escorted by Pique was still able to shoot the ball curled at the far post. Winning 1-0 made Rayo more comfortable controlling the game.
They were even more defensive and allowed Barcelona to create chance after chance but still missed.
After the first half ended 1-0 to Rayo’s advantage, Barcelona immediately attacked. Eric Garcia in the 50th minute sent a through ball to Nico Gonzalez who escaped offside, although his shot was sideways on the side of the goal.
Barcelona were still on the attack when, in the 59th minute, Sergio Aguero found the ball from Gonzalez’s area and finished with a shot on goal that Stole Dimitrievski saved.
Barcelona’s best chance to equalize came in the 71st minute when they were awarded a penalty after Memphis Depay was fouled by Esteban Saveljich.
Unfortunately, Memphis who came forward as a kicker failed because his execution was blocked by Dimitrievski. Rayo also chose to defend and counterattack.

The entry of Gavi and Luuk de Jong apparently did not bring much change, Barcelona was still difficult to score until the injury time which lasted eight minutes.
Barcelona’s best chance came in the 92nd minute when Frenkie de Jong slipped through on the right and lobbed the ball into the net, though still flying.
The last chance was made by Gavi in the 97th minute, but his shot was not on target. Until Barcelona vs Rayo finished, the 1-0 score lasted for the visitors’ victory.
