Frederico Morais is out of the Meo Rip Curl Portugal Pro, the 3rd stage of the elite circuit of the World Surfing League (WSL) after finishing third (5.60 points) in the elimination round in a heat alongside Kelly Slater ( 6.20) and Kanoa Igarashi (11.00).
«Losing needing a 3 is frustrating, but in these conditions (strong swell) there’s not much to do. The wave either comes, or a person cannot do magic», said Kikas. «It’s my frustration, no one has to take it with me, I’m the one who has to deal with it and I know how to deal with it», added the surfer who does not compete on the Championship Tour this year and who entered the Portuguese event as a wildcard (invitation).
