Since Saturday March 20, 2021, new restrictions are therefore active in the department of Seine-Maritime, as inYour especially. The incidence rate there is a sharp increase in the Covid-19 for several days, resulting in a higher number of hospitalizations in these departments.
By isolating the data on the Géodes website, map listing the data from Public Health France, we can observe in more detail the incidence rates of the various municipalities in France, and therefore of Seine-Maritime.

Figures to be taken with a grain of salt
Although they are a good indicator for showing trends, it is important to look at this data with care.
The incidence rate being the number of people affected by Covid per 100,000 individuals, this figure is largely prorated when it concerns small municipalities.

–Focus on Rouen and Le Havre
The Public Health France tool also allows you to zoom in more precisely on agglomerations. Rouen was on March 20, 2021 the third of the large metropolises in France with the highest incidence rates, behind Nice and Paris.
Here is the map of the incidence rates from March 9 to 15, 2021 in the Rouen metropolis:

–As of March 20, 2021, the incidence rate in the entire Seine-Maritime department was 332 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. The “maximum alert threshold” announced by the government at the start of 2021 was set at 250.
And the director of the ARS of Normandy Thomas Deroche to add, during a press conference on March 19, about this rate of incidence seinomarin: “It has not reached its highest level. “An increase in the incidence rate to probably correlate with the rise of the English variant in the department: it would now represent, according to the latest data from Public Health France (dated March 8, 2021), more than 78% of contaminations.
As of March 20, 630 people were hospitalized in the department, including 86 in intensive care.
