In one week, the incidence rate jumped in the Lyon area (Rhône), it went from 253 to 298 cases per 100,000 inhabitants according to the latest data published by Santé Publique France. A particularly high rate which worries the health authorities.
By way of comparison, the Eure, which at the same time displayed an incidence rate of 289.3, was reconfigured for four weeks, like 15 other departments. The Rhône and the Greater Lyon are therefore not immune to a strengthening of measures in the coming weeks.
