Mentalist Uri Geller “forces” Mitrovic to miss and makes up “wrong” from 24 years ago | Remarkable

Uri Geller achieved world fame with his trick in which he says he can bend spoons with his wits. But the British Israeli has many more arrows on his mentalist bow (even though he calls himself psychic).

At the time of the European Championship 1996, for example, he used his strength to serve the host country England. He claimed he had made Gary McAllister miss a penalty against the English.

That claim was not well received by the Scots. And Geller has now “made up” for that. He had announced before the match that he would use his mental powers to lead Scotland to the European Championship.

At the last penalty Geller did everything he could to “bewitch” Aleksandar Mitrovic. Successfully. Geller posted the triumphant video (which may not have been recorded until after Mitrovic’s penalty, but who knows how magic works) on his Twitter account. “Yes! I love you Scotland! We did it!”
