The Department of Addiction Treatment at the General Secretariat of Mental Health and Addiction Treatment has announced the completion of the development of a unified treatment program that will be applied in all addiction departments in its hospitals.
Dr. Raghda Al-Jameel, Director of Addiction Treatment Department, explained that the program has the name “recover” and was prepared in accordance with scientific programs proven by evidence and approved internationally, and the program has already been implemented in the internal departments of all Amana hospitals.
In view of the current conditions that the country is going through and following the procedures to prevent and prevent gatherings, it has been decided to implement the program with patients recovering from addiction and reluctant to follow up in the day care program, using various technologies via the Internet, where a special YouTube channel was created to display psychological education lectures for those who recover Simplified, and group therapy sessions are also conducted using various applications via the Internet.
This comes in the context of the General Secretariat’s attention to mental health and addiction treatment in developing addiction treatment services provided in its affiliated hospitals.
