Mood swings (60%), insomnia (59%), depressive symptoms (58.9%) and panic attacks (38%) are the most common sensations among those who spend between 31 and 100 euros per month to ‘ purchase of psychoactive psychotropic drugs: in 2023, 19.8% of Italians took drugs such as anxiolytics (85.1%), antidepressants (51.2%), mood stabilizers (40.5%) and antipsychotics (21.4%), especially women over 65 (21.7% compared to 17.8% of men).
