Norway beat Sweden 33-23 in the last round of the European Men’s Handball Championship semi-finals on Tuesday.
For the Swedes, the match was no longer at stake, because despite their defeat, they finished second in their group and can prepare for the semi-finals against the Olympic champions, France. The meeting was also without stakes for Norway, since despite their victory, they could not advance further than fourth place.
In the semi-finals, only one place is up for grabs, for which Germany and Austria are applying in addition to the Hungarians. Ours will play against France, the sure group leader, the Germans against Croatia, while Austria will play against Iceland in the final round on Wednesday.
