Pick Szeged won Grundfos Tatabánya 27-21 on Saturday’s NB I handball day. Telekom Veszprém proved to be better than Ferencváros with nine goals (39–30).
In the first half, Tatabánya stuck to the host Szeged, thanks to the excellent defender László Bartucz. The Tisza parties led 13–12 during the break. At the beginning of the second half, Szeged soon entered (18–13, 36 minutes). In the 46th minute, Gábor Ancsin hit, and the Miner closed himself to three (20–17). However, the visiting team, Szeged, won no closer than its rival. 27–21
