Menpora Cup Semifinal Schedule – 2 Legs of Persija vs PSM, Persib vs PSS Page all

KOMPAS.com – Pre-season tournament Menpora Cup 2021 has reached the semifinals.

The four best teams have been determined after going through the group stage to win the quarter-finals.

The teams that are confirmed to qualify are Persija Jakarta, PSM Makassar, Persib Bandung, and PS Sleman.

In the semifinal round, Persija will return against PSM. The two teams are destined to meet again after clashing in Group B.

Meanwhile, Persib will challenge PS Sleman in another semifinal party.

Semifinal series of matches Menpora Cup 2021 later it will be held on April 15-19. Final four will be held with a system of two leg.

Every leg later it will take place at two different venues, namely Maguwoharjo Sleman Stadium and Solo Manahan Stadium.

The Maguwoharjo Stadium will be the stage leg first, while the Manahan Stadium was designated as the venue leg second.

When later match two leg resulting in an aggregate draw, the winner will be determined on penalties.

PSM Makassar

PSM became the first team to stroll into the Menpora Cup semifinals.

Juku Eja escaped after defeating PSIS Semarang in the quarter-finals which took place at Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang, Friday (9/4/2021).

The PSM victory was won through a shootout which ended with a score of 4-2.

Persija Jakarta

Persija Jakarta narrowly won 1-0 over Barito Putera in the quarter-finals at Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang, Saturday (10/4/2021).

Marko Simic became the hero of the Kemayoran Tigers’ victory after scoring in the 61st minute.

This result also made the Capital City team clash again with PSM.

Apart from trying to win for the final ticket, this party is also Persija’s revenge event.

The reason is, Riko Simanjuntak et al defeated 0-2 from PSM in the Group B preliminary round.

Persib Bandung became the third team to get a ticket to the semifinals.

The success of Maung Bandung cannot be separated from the 3-2 victory over Persebaya Surabaya in the quarter-finals at Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sunday (11/4/2021).

The goals of Ezra Walian, Wander Luiz and Nick Kuipers were the decisive points for Persib’s victory in this fierce duel.

The Persebaya brace was scored by Arif Satria and Mokhamad Syaifuddin.

PS Sleman

PS Sleman completes the list of four teams entitled to perform in the Menpora Cup semifinals.

The Javanese Super Eagle stepped into the final four after defeating Bali United in the quarter-finals at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung, Monday (12/4/2021).

PSS managed to beat Serdadu Tridatu through a shootout with a score of 4-2.

These results make PSS face Persib Bandung’s strong team in the semifinals.
