Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Tjahjo Kumolo passed away, Friday (1/7).
The sad news was confirmed by a PDIP official, Junimart Girsang.
Previously, Tjahjo was hospitalized and has been undergoing intensive treatment for the past two weeks.
Tjahjo resigned from his position as secretary general of the PDIP in 2014 after Joko Widodo was elected to the cabinet as minister of the interior.
In the Jokowi administration for the 2019-2024 period, Tjahjo was again trusted to enter the cabinet to serve as Menpan RB.
