Al-Marsad newspaper: The Egyptian actress, Menna Shalaby, denied, before the Egyptian public prosecution, today, Friday, that she possessed narcotic substances that were seized during her search after her return to the country from America.
The Egyptian artist collapsed, during her statement to the investigating authorities, crying, indicating that she knew nothing about the kidnappings.
Menna Shalaby said that during her return from the United States of America, members of the airport customs authorities asked her about the bags and personal effects she was carrying, then entered her room to inspect her alone, so such as her clothes bags, according to Egyptian media.
And the Egyptian artist added, as she collapsed in tears, saying, “After inspection, I went out and found these things lined up in front of me, and they say they’ve been seized in my bags, and I don’t know anything about them.” They”.
According to local websites, a number of lawyers, as well as a lawyer from the Trade Union of Representative Professions, attended the inquiry at the prosecutor’s office at the Heliopolis Court in the capital, Cairo, with Menna Shalaby.
