Men try to kidnap child in New York in broad daylight, mother intervenes

The images show that the mother with three children is walking down the street in the Queens district when one of the men comes running. He grabs the 5-year-old boy, who is a few steps ahead of the others, and puts him in a car. There the mother can pull the toddler out through a window.

Motive unknown

The New York Police Department has put the images, including screenshots of the car and the men, on social media in the hope that someone will recognize the perpetrators. It is not yet known why they wanted to kidnap the toddler. The child was not injured, according to CBS New York news channel.
