Men of War II Release Date Moved to May 15: Developer and Publisher Respond to Beta Criticism

Developer Best Way and publisher Fulqrum Publishing will release Men of War II for PC on May 15. The strategy game was originally scheduled to be released in September 2023, but was postponed due to criticism of beta versions.

Men of War II is the sequel to 2009’s Men of War and uses the same real-time strategy principle. In the second main part, players can play with three groups during the Second World War, namely the Third Reich, the Soviets and the Americans. The game features a single-player campaign with co-op options for up to five players and various PVP and PVE game options for up to fifteen players. Best Way says there are over 300 vehicles and 45 infantry units in the game.

The studio is located in Ukraine and Men of War II has been canceled before, partly because of the war. Since then, several beta play sessions have been held. According to the company, both internal testing and these public betas showed that the game was not yet ready for release. Since the original Men of War, Best Way has produced several other strategy games set in World War II. Fulqrum Publishing released several other Men of War products, including Vietnam and the Assault Squad series.
