Woman discovers amazing testicle study
These bizarre experiences were born on TikTok after a woman named Regan came across a study. Dating from 2013, it reveals that mice have a form of taste receptors in their testicles.
“I would love to joke. I am not joking. If you have testicles, dip them in something. It’s for science, I need to know. Thank you. She concludes in her video.
Some men have been willing to play and the result is hilarious, as you can see in the video above.

Men dip testicles in soy sauce
Alex James tried the experiment. He explains that he was attracted to part of the study which claimed that taste receptors on the testes can detect the amino acids in soy sauce.

After applying soy sauce on his testicles, he laughs hysterically and says: “Oh my God, I can smell the salt! It’s ridiculous. “
Another man tries the experiment, and has the same conclusion as Alex. But what is really going on?
Doctors Reveal the Truth
After these videos went viral, Dr. Kirten Parekh, a New Jersey surgeon, made a video to explain if what these men feel is not real.
He replies: “The functional implications of taste receptors distributed throughout the body are still unknown. Chances are you won’t taste anything in your dipping experiences. “
Another doctor, Dr. Kieran Kennedy, says, ” When you think about it, even if you imagine or anticipate tasting something salty (like crisps) or sour (a lemon), you will notice that your saliva has a potential hint of this flavor. “
