– We stand together in the suffering, says Zahid Bhatti, who works with young people in the area.

Young people and young adults flocked to Lofsrud school in Mortensrud on Saturday night.
They were there to remember and honor the 20-year-old man who was killed on Thursday. In black bubble jackets and black coats, they stood together in front of the lights, the roses and the big picture of him that no longer exists.
– We stand together in suffering. We are a big family, says Zahid Bhatti.
He works with young people at Søndre Nordstrand Muslim Center. On Saturday, he spoke to everyone who attended the memorial service for the 20-year-old.
“He was a good boy, and he lives in our hearts,” Bhatti said.
One minute of silence turned into another. And one more. For a long time you could only hear the wind whistling in the trees around the school.
The local community is deeply affected by the murder of the young man.
– He had bad luck that day
On Thursday, the 20-year-old was shot in the grass behind Lofsrud school at Mortensrud south of Oslo. The next day he died from the shots.
– The family is broken. Children should grow up, go to school, maybe play football. Children should not be shot, says Farid Bouras.
