Memorial for “queen of punk” Vivienne Westwood becomes celebrity fashion show

The list of attendees was impressive. Actress Helena Bonham Carter gave a speech and other guests from the film world included Vanessa Redgrave, Gwendoline Christie (known from “Game of Thrones”), Christina Hendricks (from “Mad Men”), Richard Grant or Elle Fanning.

Nick Cave sang “Into my arms”; from the music world, Bob Geldof, Simon Le Bon, Beth Ditto and Stormzy also paid tribute to Vivienne Westwood. Victoria Beckham was also present, as were fashion designers Paul Smith, Marc Jacobs, fashion model Kate Moss, her daughter Lila Grace, Vogue figurehead Anna Wintour or artist Tracey Emin.
