The first edition of GDLuz It was in 2017, and now in 2024, before the next start of the activities of this festival for the 482nd anniversary of Guadalajara, in the Chapultepec Urban Gallery They have inaugurated a new exhibition.
In which, through photographs, the most important moments of each edition are shown, from its beginnings.
Julio Limón, marketing manager of GDLuzwho pointed out the scope that this Festival has had until this year’s edition, which is why they are now showing this series of photographs.

“This edition of GDLuz, which is the seventh, where we had a record number of visitors last year, and we hope that we can also count on that incredible success that we have had, we made the decision to take a little piece of what it has represented GDLuz throughout these 7 editions.
We curated the best attractions we have ever had at the festival, to tell this story, to tell this story, that we are the only festival inspired by Mexican Folklore, in taking those attractions of taking the best of art, the best of culture.”
The photo exhibition will be until February 29. It is divided into two parts on the median of Av. Chapultepec: One on Av. Ignacio L. Vallarta, and the second on Mexicaltzingo Street.
It has more than 25 pieces, and in each photo each show that the meeting has had is visible, as well as the light installations that since 2017 have been the main attraction of the festival.
- There are also photographs of musical artists and dancers, as well as the most remembered events of video mapping in the city’s historic buildings.
