The four children of Kim Porter, the ex-wife of fallen rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, don’t believe for a second that their mother is behind the book Kim’s Lost Words: A journey for justice, from the other side…
“To claim that our mother wrote a book is simply false. She didn’t do it. Anyone who claims to have a manuscript is not telling the truth,” Quincy Brown, along with Christian, D’Lila and Jessie James Combs, said via an Instagram post Tuesday.
Before dying of pneumonia at the age of 47, in 2018, Kim Porter would have detailed in writing then recorded on a USB key the violent and unhealthy relationship she had with Sean Combs, on an intermittent basis, from the early 1990s to 2007. She would also have alluded to the “sex parties” organized by her former partner, in which young boys would have taken part, including two hip-hop stars formerly mentored by “Diddy”. Porter then allegedly secretly passed the USB drive to close friends.
This story is denied by Kim Porter’s first son, from a previous union, as well as by the three children she shared with the founder of the Bad Boy Records label.
The book titled Kim’s Lost Words: A journey for justice, from the other side…, was published on September 6 and is in the top 10 of the most read and purchased books on Amazon. It is Chris Todd, Jamal T. Millwood, by his pen name, who is the author.
An author unknown to relatives
During an interview given to Daily Mail, Chris Todd mentioned that he was “lucky enough to meet someone who claimed to have Kim Porter’s USB stick”, that he knew the celebrity “pretty well” who contacted him and that he knew how well he/ she was “close to Kim and Diddy and everyone in the hip-hop community.”
“Please understand that the so-called friends who speak out for our mother and her family are not friends and do not have her best interests at heart,” the children say.
Kim Porter’s best friends also mentioned to the magazine Rolling Stone that they “do not know at all [l’auteur]».
The causes of his death questioned
From the first pages of the work, published 10 days before the arrest of Sean Combs, we can read: “Regarding the sudden death of Kim, […] “evidence points to poisoning or dishonest actions.”
The children deny this rumor, which they describe as “hurtful”.
“The cause of his death has long been established. There were no dishonest actions,” they emphasize, still on Instagram.
Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently accused of running a business based on sexual exploitation, forced labor, kidnapping, arson and other crimes committed between 2008 and the present. He is still detained.
