Daniel Huhn and his team were able to welcome a returnee to the team before the game. After a long injury break, Pascal Dopatka celebrated his comeback for the Indians. Against the currently strongest team in the league from Heilbronn, the home team started with concentration and pressure to score. Matej Pekr scored 1-0 for Memmingen in the 5th minute. In the final section, Memmingen struggled against pressing guests from Baden-Württemberg, who now wanted to equalize with all their might. The Maustadt team also had a chance to make a preliminary decision, but Falken veteran Frederik Caban shot the disc into the net to make it 2-2 (54th minute). Several good chances ensured that the encounter was exciting until the end, but ultimately had to be decided in overtime.
In extra time, the red and white team managed to secure the extra point when they had the advantage. Robert Peleikis deflected a shot from Linus Svedlund to make it 3-2 for Memmingen, which earned the Indians a not undeserved additional point.
It continues on Sunday in the distance. Within a week there will be a second meeting with EV Füssen. The game at Kobelhang starts at 5:00 p.m. The next home game at Hühnerberg follows on Tuesday.
