Kailia Posey, an American girl known for the reality series Toddlers & Tiaras passed away when she was 5 years old. Posey barely turned 16. “I can’t put it into words. A beautiful girl is gone,” her mother Marcy wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.

“Kailia made the hasty decision to end her earthly life,” the mother’s Facebook post said. The girl’s family has now started a fund “to collect resources for students in crisis”, the Kailia Posey Teen Crisis Intervention Fund.
Posey became known for her participation in the program Toddlers & Tiaras, about beauty pageants for children. In a 2012 episode, then 5-year-old Kailia was photographed with a grin on her face, a photo that went viral and is often used for memes. Posey recently took part in the ‘Miss Teen Washington’ beauty pageant.
