Manager House of Tahfiz Alquran Nurul Jihad, Abdul Wahid, admitted that he had reported the DPRD members Pangkep Regency H Amiruddin related the closure of the back door access of his tahfiz house with a stone wall. Amiruddin was reported on the allegations of threatening words.
“I have reported threats and unpleasant actions when closing the back entrance of the house with a wall to the Panakukang Police,” said Abdul Wahid in Bone, when confirmed by reporters from Makassar, South Sulawesi, Wednesday (23/7).
The wall built by Amiruddin covered the two back doors of Rumah Tahfiz Alquran Nurul Jihad and other residents’ houses at Jalan Ance Daeng Ngoyo Lorong 5, RW 5, Kelurahan Masale, Makassar City.
According to Wahid, the reporting was carried out because Amiruddin’s words were considered too excessive and considered demeaning to others. He also emphasized that there is no justification for anyone to close the road access, especially if the land is a public facility (Fasum).
Wahid said the access to the back door of the tahfiz house which was closed by Amiruddin had blocked the way for his students to go to the mosque for worship.
Separately, Panakukang Police Chief Adjunct Commissioner of Police (AKP) Andi Ali Surya confirmed the residents’ reports of unpleasant words with threats related to closing the access to the Tahfiz House with a wall.
“Yes, it’s true, it has been received (the report). Currently, the investigation stage has been carried out. We have also sent a letter of clarification regarding the report of the said threats to the reported party, “said Andi Ali.
Andi Ali said the police were still trying to take persuasive steps by summoning the person concerned and the reporting party for mediation. If the case is deadlocked, the case will proceed to the investigation stage.
“It is possible that this case will go to the investigation stage, then a case will be held if the person concerned is not cooperative. We had time to go to the location, but the reported house was locked with iron chains, no one was there,” he said.
Andi stressed that the case handled by the police was an allegation of issuing threats. Regarding the closure of road access with walls, he said, it is beyond the authority of the police. Andi said the closure case was handled by the sub-district.
Reasons for Closing the Tahfiz House Road Access
The head of the Rukun Warga (RW) 5, Abd Azis, explained that the reason Amiruddin closed the access to Tahfiz’s house was allegedly because noisy children were disturbed while studying the Koran.
“The reason why Amiruddin is closed is because Tahfidz’s children are noisy, he said, because they often recite the Koran here,” said Abd Azis when met at the location.
He admits that the path behind the house for memorizing the Qur’an is often used by students as a place to play while learning the Koran and memorizing the Koran. The location of the path is right in front of Amiruddin’s house.
“These are Tahfidz children, they often learn the Koran here while playing. They also often pass here when they go to the mosque for Asr prayers,” he explained.
Although it is not the main route for the santri from Rumah Tahfiz to the mosque, the closure of the road makes local residents feel awkward because the fence that Amiruddin built stands on public facilities belonging to the Makassar City Government.
“Actually, children can go through the front, but it’s a pity they are far away, if they want to go to the mosque. And, this is the real Fasum location,” he explained.
Amiruddin as the owner of the house that blocked the residents’ access road, did not respond when contacted via his cellphone. Short messages from journalists also did not reply.
