Members of the Bar Association commemorate their day

On May 21 not only the Naval Glories are commemorated. Lawyer’s Day is also celebrated, a reason that brought together 20 members of the Magallanes Bar Association by telematic means.

In addition to the usual greetings among the enlightened, the results of a survey applied on the practice of the profession at the local level were shared and the ethical role that tuition fees should have was reflected on.

“As a union we seek to get closer to our members and collect the various concerns that may arise about their work as lawyers, in order to adopt courses of action that allow discussing and solving the issues that have been raised,” said the regional president of the union, Ramón Ibáñez Álvarez.

The lawyer also raised the need to take a leading role on ethics, inviting lawyers to actively participate and suggesting guidelines on the correct exercise of publicity for the profession.
