Off to America! Moritz Rudrof packs his bags for a year – when Corona no longer throws the bill – in August so that he can live and work in America for a year. This is made possible by the grant of the parliamentary sponsorship program of the federal government and Rudrof’s sponsor Dr. Silke Launert.
The young man from Waischenfeld succeeds Lena Herrmannsdörfer, who had to postpone her one-year stay abroad due to Corona last year. This year the young woman would like to concentrate on her studies and has made her place in the program free. Your non-participation is also a great opportunity for Moritz Rudrof from Waischenfeld, who has already accepted and is now his sponsor Dr. Silke Launert got to know personally.
Launert regrets Lena Herrmannsdörfer’s cancellation, but is also happy for the 21-year-old Rudrof. He now has the chance to develop personally and professionally in America. Launert hopes that the exchange can take place again this year as usual.
Rudrof has completed his training as a draftsman and sees the program as an ideal opportunity to break new ground. The young man has close ties with his homeland, Franconian Switzerland. Nevertheless, he wants to surpass himself and has therefore applied for the PPP.
In his spare time, Rudrof is a soccer referee, skiing and paragliding. The adventurous young man is particularly fascinated by America’s diversity, its immigration history and its cultural and sports scene.
