“Member of Strong Lebanon bloc speaks out on alleged Christian party agreements”

A member of the “Strong Lebanon” bloc, Simon Abi Ramia, stressed that “we are” one free patriotic movement “but we, like all parties, have multiple opinions that enrich us.”

In an interview with Al-Jadeed, he said: “I am Representative Simon Abi Ramia, one of the founders of the Free Patriotic Movement, and I apologize in advance to Azour, Franjieh, and the movement and the forces, because I will be very frank.”

He added, “Until now, I have not officially reported any agreement between the Christian parties, and I hear from the media about an agreement between them on the Azour jihad, but it was not put on the current table, and I have no information about a similar agreement.”

Abi Ramia added, “Jihad Azour is a personal friend of mine, and according to what I know, he does not wish to be a confrontational candidate in the face of any party.”
