The spread between BTPs and Bunds closed up at 202 points, compared to 200 points the day before and after having reached a high of the day at 204 points. The yield on the Italian ten-year bond rose to 4.9%, compared to 4.88 at yesterday’s closing and after having reached 5% during the day. The trend is in line with other European government bonds with the ten-year Bund standing at 2.88% (+0.6 basis points), the French one at 3.47% (+1 point) and the Greek at 4.36% (+5 points).
