When asked if there is a plan to subvert this government on the part of the judiciary, the prime minister replies: “I wouldn’t speak of a conspiracy… I read about a conspiracy theorist Giorgia Meloni, there is no plan to subvert the popular will, but there is it’s a certain lack of care towards the popular will.”
On the judge’s email PatarnelloMeloni states: “He says two true things: the first is that I don’t act out of personal interest but out of political vision, and he says that this is a problem. In this nation, strong politics that has no skeletons in the closet and cannot be influenced is a problem for those who have built empires on the weakness of politics.”
