Recently, she decided to start covering all her tattoos with a thick layer of makeup.
Every time she leaves the house, she wears foundation on her face.
– I do it most of the time now. It depends on the mood, she says.
Sloan says that she enjoys blending into the crowd.
– I like how I look with all the make-up, she says.

– Not going anywhere
Despite the fact that Melissa Sloan now covers up when she goes out in public, she has no plans to permanently remove the tattoos.
– People think I look nicer without the tattoos, but my tattoos are not going anywhere, she emphasizes.
She says her seven children like her best with all the tattoos visible.
– When I hid the tattoos, the children didn’t speak to me for a whole day. They didn’t like the makeup. My boyfriend didn’t like it either, she says.
