JAKARTA – The sad news came from one of the audition participants for the Indonesian Idol Season Special, Melisha Sidabutar. He reportedly passed away at the age of 19 on December 8, 2020.
Judika, as an Indonesian Idol judge, also expressed her sorrow through uploads on Instagram. He shared a photo of Melisha singing in the elimination round.

“Rest in peace @melishapricilla sidabutar,” wrote Judika through her photo caption on Instagram, Tuesday (8/12/2020).
The singer of ‘Disconnect Or Continue’ also recalled the moment when he had a duet with the participant from Medan. During the audition, the two sang the Batak song, Ujuni Ngolu.
Not to forget, Judika also sent prayers for Melisha and her family.
“Hopefully calm down there and make @melithatricia and the extended family given strength, patience and comfort from God,” he concluded.
Melisha previously managed to get a golden ticket to enter the second elimination round at the Indonesia Idol Special Season. But unfortunately, now the steps have stopped to go to the showcase round.
