This annual EU award for popular and contemporary music, co-funded by the program Creative Europe, pays tribute to emerging artists who represent the European sound of today and tomorrow.
The awards ceremony took place digitally on Friday January 15 on the virtual platform Nite Hotel. The ceremony was presented by the British artist Melanie C, who succeeded the previous hosts, Jools Holland, Eric Corton and Thomas Neuwirth (Conchita Wurst). This has been the third edition of this EU music award. Past winners include Rosalía, Meduza, Bishop Briggs, girl in red, and Pale Waves.
