Melbourne ∙ Ayyappa Puja and Pathipuja were held in Melbourne under the auspices of Melbourne Ayyappa Seva Sangh (MASS). Preparations are underway for the construction of a temple on the model of Sabarimala on 10 acres of land purchased by the Ayyappa Seva Sangam in Dandinong province in Melbourne. Once the project gets town planning approval, the construction work will start immediately.
President Rajendra Kailasam and Secretary Dr. Vija informed that the project is to complete the construction in 2025. Pooja is performed on the first day of every Malayalam month.
Vishu, Ugadi and Gudi Patua special days were celebrated together this time. Abhishek Raju’s Bhakti Ganam Mela was staged. Hundreds of devotees participated in the special puja and the food donation that followed. The arrangements were led by Vice President Sundaram, Malathi, Satish Thothatil and others.
