One of the great mysteries of the world is what really happens inside Donald’s marriage and Melania Trump.
For a very public couple, whose infidelities have been scandalously revealed in court, their relationship remains remarkably opaque, largely due to the former first lady’s resolute silence and the widespread mendacity of Donald Trump.
Hence the burning questions:
What did she think about the jury’s determination in 2023 that he had committed sexual assault against E. Jean Carroll?
Your roll with Stormy Danielsa porn actress, which led to her conviction for corporate fraud?
Your comments about women bleeding or, say, being grabbed by the “vagina”?

Why does he stay?
Melania Trump has been eerily silent on these matters, leading to endless speculation about her beliefs.
Every dismissive movement of his wrist has been analyzed.
Every little permutation of her face at rest.
Her fashion choices are sometimes surprising.
The anti-Trump public’s desire for a whiff of rebellion has been so palpable that it’s tempting to believe she secretly supported his felony convictions, as she suggested “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert”.
Of course, what happens inside any marriage is a mystery.
Political marriages, whether Hillary y Bill Clinton, JD y Usha Vance, John y Jackie Kennedy o Barack y Michelle Obamaare a constant fascination because we necessarily remain on the sidelines of them.
But Donald Trump just offered an unintentionally sad glimpse into how Melania Trump really feels.
In an interview on Tuesday night in Fox Newsin which Trump spoke at length about the assassination attempt, Laura Ingraham asked:
“What was Melania’s reaction, if you don’t mind me asking? I know this is very personal, when she heard about what happened on that field in Butler.”
“I asked him that,” Trump told Ingraham.
“I said, ‘What did you feel?’” she continued, saying that Melania Trump cannot talk about that.
But then came a very unusual moment for Trump.
He leaned forward, exhaled sharply, and said in a torrent of words, interspersed with nervous laughter:
“Which is fine because that means he likes me. Or he loves me. I mean, let’s say I could talk about it freely, that wouldn’t be… I’m not so sure which is better. But, uh, either he likes me or he loves me and that’s fine.”
This may have been the statement more revealing that Donald Trump has made about himself or his wife. He says that she either likes him or loves him.
He’s not sure, but surprisingly and jarringly, he seemed to care. Who would have thought?
