She asks the followers of her private account to follow the new Twitter account ‘for news and updates’. The message was liked and retweeted thousands of times.

Her husband Donald Trump’s Twitter account was blocked shortly before his departure from the White House for his involvement in the storming of the Capitol in Washington. For the then president, Twitter was his primary means of communication. His account remains permanently blocked, a Twitter executive told CNBC on Wednesday.
