In “Dangerous” the headstrong psychotherapist Dr. Alderwood (Mel Gibson) the ex-convict Dylan Forrester (Scott Eastwood) to comply with his probation and not to become criminal again. But then Forrester’s brother, who lived on a remote island, dies under mysterious circumstances and he sets out to help his sister-in-law (Leanne Lapp) and his little nephew at the funeral.

What Forrester does not know is that he has the FBI on the heels of the ambitious special agent Shaughnessy (Famke Janssen), who suspects he is planning a crime. Because the mercilessly brutal gangster Cole (Kevin Durand) has the island firmly under control and is likely to be involved in the death of Dylan’s brother. And how does the local police chief (Tyrese Gibson) fit into the whole thing?

The action thriller started in selected cinemas in the USA in November 2021 and was released in parallel as video-on-demand. In this country, “Dangerous” will be released on February 24, 2022 with FSK-16 approval directly on Blu-ray and DVD. Both formats can already be pre-ordered from online retailers such as Amazon:

“Dangerous” has an impressive cast

On the director’s chair sat David Hackl, who – after being responsible for the production design in the previous parts – was able to land a hit with his first film “Saw V”. He then directed John Travolta and Sharon Stone in “The Storm – Life On The Line” and Gina Carano and Richard Dreyfus in “Daughter Of The Wolf”.

Clint Eastwood’s son Scott starred in “Dangerous”, who was most recently in Guy Ricthie’s action hit “Cash Truck” and previously in “Pacific Rim 2: Uprising” and “Heart of Steel”. Kevin Durand embodies his opponent, the brutal gangster Cole, from “Next Stop: Fruitvale Station” and “Robin Hood”.

Other parts include Oscar winner Mel Gibson (“Braveheart”, “Lethal Weapon – Two Steel Hard Professionals”), ex-Bond girl Famke Janssen (“GoldenEye”, “96 Hours”), “Fast & Furious” star Tyrese Gibson, Leanne Lapp (“iZombie”) and Brendan Fletcher from “The Revenant” and “Tideland” can be seen.
